We are a family with 2 kids and we just recently bought a 1908 farm located in Belgium, that was standing abandoned for 10 years. We got the keys in the middle of Dec 2020. We're planning a total renovation project, but since we spent almost all our savings to buy it, it will be mainly done by us. In phase 1 we plan to start from the main building - roof (Done!), electricity, plumbing, heating - to be able to move in as quickly as possible.
